Sim Farar, a well known Los Angeles entrepreneur, is a member of the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy. Simm Farar, at present, is the Vice Chairman of the U.S. Advisory Commission. In addition, Simm is a managing member of JDF Investments Company, LLC. JDF is a company that specializes in corporate development, and financing merger transactions. Sim Farar has been a key figure in Los Angeles, for over 30 years – in addition to serving on the Board of Directors of several companies.

In 2002, Sim Farar was appointed to server as the commissioner for the Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension’s Trustee fund. In 2001, Sim Farar was appointed to the Woodrow Wilson Council, which is the private sector advisory board of the Woodrow Wilson Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C.

In 1999, Sim Farar was appointed by President Clinton and was confirmed by the U.S. Senate, to serve as the US Representatives to the 54th General Assembly at U.N. in New York. In 1994, Sim Farar received a Presidential appointment, to the prestigious Advisory Committee on the JFK Center for Performing arts in D.C.

Since 1956, Sim Farar has been a resident of California. At present, he is an associate at the University of Southern California School of Law.
